Alocasia Amazonica Variegata
The Alocasia Amazonica is a hybrid plant, often mistaken for a species but is actually a cross between Alocasia Longiloba and Alocasia Sanderiana. It belongs to the Araceae family and is native to Southeast Asia and Eastern Australia. Unlike its more common sibling, the Alocasia Amazonica Variegated carries a unique genetic trait that causes its foliage to be marbled with variegation, making each leaf an individual work of art.
The star feature of Alocasia Amazonica Variegated is its distinct variegated leaves. Each leaf showcases a captivating blend of forest green and lighter shades, making the plant a striking visual element in any setting. Variegation is due to a fascinating genetic mutation affecting chlorophyll distribution, hence creating the spellbinding mosaic of colors on each leaf.

How To Grow:
Alocasia Amazonia variegated likes medium indirect light. Do not put in direct sun, or it will scorch the leaves. Alocasias like moist soil, but not wet.
Give it humid temperatures (60%-80%) and do not expose it to extreme cold, or it may go dormant.
To keep Alocasia Amazonica pest-free, keep them healthy by watering on schedule when the potting medium dries out, keeping a humid environment, and fertilizing when needed (ideally summer through fall.)
Plant ships in nursery pot.
